The very first Influencer Awards took place via a live event held in NYC as a part of the 2018 Consensus Activities, w/ Omar Bham of Crypt0 News taking home top honors!

The next year saw the awards held via a 20+ Influencer Livestream in association w/ the Chainwise Conference with Crypto Zombie being crowned 2019's Influencer of the Year!

For 2020 the awards took place during the Covid-19 charity inspired Virtual Blockchain Week, and saw the year's previous winner Crypto Zombie tie w/ Anthony Pompliano for "2020 Influencer of the Year" honors!

For 2021 the awards returned to its initial physical incarnation, via a two day IRL event hosted by DCentral for Miami’s Art Basel Week, which saw Bitboy Crypto & Altcoin Daily tie for top prize!

Last year's ceremony was once again held in accordance with the ongoing Art Basel festivities, being featured across several conferences including Scope & DCentral w/ Altcoin Daily once again taking home "Influencer of the Year" honors!

These awards shows are not meant to be taken seriously. The vote & awards are very real, but the event itself resembles something akin to that of a Comedy Central Roast. To get a feel for the vibe of the event, check out this video!

For the first time in the 6 year inception of these awards, the show will take place across multiple cities -- Miami Beach & Las Vegas!

The first half returns to Miami to take place on December 8th during the Art Basel adjacent Scope on the Beach event!

The second half will take place on December 14th in beautiful Las Vegas Nevada in accordance with the combat sporting event -- Karate Combat 43: Henderson vs Pettis III

In years prior, nominees were determined by an academy of ones peers, this year the academy composed of the 25 winners from the previous awards.

Creators are nominated only once, within the category in which they received the most votes. IFOTY nominations are composed of the creators who received the most nominations across all categories -- excluding "Micro Channel"

Voting for the 2022 will take place on November 14th, and last until December 5th! To participate in polls please scroll down below and cast your votes!!

Select winners will be announced live via a panel hosted at Scope on the Beach during Miami’s Art Basel Week on December 8th!

Attendees will also be able to cast their votes IRL @ the conference itself, via the W3IA '23 exhibitor booth. Votes cast in real life hold more weight, and are the equivalent of x2 online ballots.

The remaining winners be announced live via a comedy show (in the style of a roast) held during the Influencer Fight Club (IFC) Kickoff Party, which is open to both industry professionals and fans alike!

This Kickoff Party is apart of the Karate Combat 43 weekend festivities, which will culminate with the Benson Henderson vs Anthony Pettis III event on December 15th. The IFC will also be announcing its inaugural fight card during this weekend.

SCOPE is a traditional art centric conference first held in 2004 -- launching its first NFT Stage in 2021 in accordance w/ Superchief.  Karate Combat is one of the largest combat sports promotions in North America -- launching $KARATE Token in 2023, currently available on several notable exchanges
